Description

This is a mid-19th century house on the north-west side of Newmarket Road. The front facade is built of yellow brick with a red brick plinth. The roof is slate, hipped, and features three brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor. The original central door has been blocked and replaced with a 20th-century round-headed window, which is sheltered by a dentilled hood. A two-storey square-fronted bay window extends from the left side, featuring a dentilled stringcourse, a pediment, and sash windows with large panes of glass. A similar bay window is located on the right side. Access to the property is now gained through a glazed conservatory on the right-hand side.
