Description

No. 46 on Church Street is a house from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of gault brick in English bond, with a pebbledash render at the rear. The roof is covered with slate, and the stack has been rebuilt. The building has two storeys and features a double fronted, symmetrical elevation. On either side of a blocked window opening, there are two recessed hung sashes, each with twelve panes. Additionally, there are two sixteen-pane hung sashes on either side of a central doorway, which has a six-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight above. This property is included for its group value with surrounding buildings.
