Description

No. 16 on Main Street is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Swithland slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a central doorway that is slightly recessed. On either side of the doorway are 16-light sash windows topped with tall gauged brick arched heads. The upper storey has 12-light sash windows. There is a sill band and a plain brick eaves cornice. The side elevation of the west wing includes a central door in a lattice-work porch, with 3-light horizontal sliding sash windows on each floor to the left, and blind window recesses to the right. The gable ends have stacks.
