Description

No. 10 on Main Street is a house, likely built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick on a cobble plinth and features a Swithland slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-unit plan. The doorway, which has an overlight, is slightly off centre and is flanked by 12-light sash windows that have thick wooden cases and cambered gauged brick heads. There are also two upper sash windows and two additional windows in the gable wall. The house has a moulded brick eaves cornice and a brick sill band, with gable end stacks.
