Description

This is a vernacular mud wall dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The wall is constructed of un-rendered mud and sits upon a foundation of stone rubble, which is in places covered with cement. It is topped with a coping of corrugated tiles beneath ridge tiles. The wall runs roughly east-west and connects to small sections of 20th-century brick walling at each end. It measures approximately 12.96 metres in length and 2.06 metres in height.
