Description

This is a vernacular mud wall built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The wall is rendered and stands on an exposed footing made of stone and brick rubble, topped with a wooden coping. It measures approximately 6.94 meters in length and 2.87 meters in height.

The wall serves as the street-facing property boundary for Number 5 Delph Street. On the inside face, there is a slate on the left side that reads 'RE-THATCHED 1988', and on the right side, the date '2002' is incised into the render, indicating the year the render was applied.
