Description

This is a vernacular mud wall built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, located adjoining 4 West End in Whittlesey. The wall is un-rendered and stands on a footing made of exposed stone rubble, topped with a thatched coping. The easternmost quarter of the wall has a higher footing than the rest, which is nearly level with the pavement on the south side. The wall measures approximately 36.93 meters in length and 2.44 meters in height.
