Description

Nos. 13 and 15 Low Cross is a cottage that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame that is rendered and partially cased in brick. The roof is made of both reed thatch and combed wheat reed thatch, with a ridge stack that has been rebuilt at the upper courses. The building has a lobby entry and a three-bay plan. There are three late 19th-century gable dormers with shaped bargeboarding. The exterior includes three windows and one doorway, all of which are from the 20th century, with one window opening having been enlarged from its original size. The doorway is located in its original position opposite the stack. The interior has not been seen.
