Description
The Larches is a house built in the late 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped slate roof with two brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and three windows on the first floor. It has rusticated brick quoins and a six-panelled door with a plain overlight, which is accessed by two steps. The door recess has a flat gauged brick arch and is topped by a dentilled cornice. On either side of the entrance, there are canted two-storey bays with large pane sashes that have horns, all under flat gauged brick arches. A brick cornice runs along the top of the building. There is also a later single-storey rendered extension that projects to the left. According to the owner, the property's deeds are dated 1872, and it is not shown on Morant's Map of Norwich from 1873.
