Description
The Croft is a house built in the late 19th century, with later additions. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped slate roof and four brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three first-floor windows. There are two long steps leading up to a six-panelled door with a plain overlight that has a cambered head. On either side of the entrance, there are canted bays with three-light windows. The house has plain string courses, and all windows are large-paned sashes with horns, set under cambered brick arches. A modillion cornice adds to the architectural detail. There is a post-1885 extension at the rear of the property. Notably, this house does not appear on Morant's Map of Norwich from 1873.
