Description
Moore's Farm Barn is a barn dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and covered with red pantiles. There are 20th-century lean-to additions on the north side, and a catslide brick and red pantiled lean-to on the south, which includes a gabled addition at right angles. The east end of the barn is designed with a ground floor stable and a first floor loft. The roof on the west side consists of four bays and a half bay, featuring butt purlins, collars, and wind-bracing. It has two tie beams supported by crude hammer-beams, with Queen posts above that have expanded jowls. The center of the barn contains a single tie beam.
