Description
Old Hall Farm Barn is a barn dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings on the east and south sides, along with red brick and red pantiles. The barn has three sections and features a south gable with brick quoins and a blocked rectangular opening on the ground floor that is also brick dressed. There is a central brick cart porch on the west side, which has a 20th-century boarded gable. Lean-to additions made of boarded materials and pantiles extend to the south, while the north gable is made of temporary materials, indicating that the barn originally extended further to the north. Inside, the barn has a roof supported by 13 bays and two half-bays, featuring two rows of butt-purlins with slightly arched collars and wind-bracing.
