Description

This is a house dating to circa 1840, located on The Street in Fulmodeston, Barney. The building is constructed of red brick with a black glazed pantiled roof. It is two storeys high with three bays to the front. The ground floor has two sash windows, while the first floor has three sash windows, all with glazing bars and set beneath rubbed brick arches. A fluted doorcase, ornamented with corner paterae, frames a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above. The building features coped parapets and two chimney stacks at each end.
