Description
Phillipo's Farm House is a farmhouse that originated in the 17th century and was refaced in the early 19th century. The south facade is plastered, while the east gable is made of brick, and the west gable and rear wall are constructed from flint dressed with brick, although the rear is obscured by a 19th-century outshut lean-to. The roof is covered with black glazed pantiles.
The south front features early 19th-century refacing, with two storeys and three bays. There are two ground floor and three first floor sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance has a four-part door, with two glazed panels and a fluted architrave topped by a pentice canopy. The building has wooden eaves and two gault brick stacks at the ends.
On the rear wall to the west, there are two stone dressed mullioned windows, and on the first floor, there is one window with wooden frames and four lights. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered and stopped spine and crossbeams on both the ground and first floors.
