Description
The Grange is a house dating to circa 1840. It is constructed of red brick with slated roofs. The original front section is a three-bay, two-storey pile, with a contemporary wing to the rear that creates a T-shaped plan. The ground floor has two sash windows, while the first floor has three, all with glazing bars and set beneath flat brick arches. A canopy porch supported by thin iron columns with a Doric entablature shelters a part-glazed door with a rectangular fanlight above. A modillion wooden eaves cornice runs along the top of the front elevation. The house has parapetted gables and two end stacks.
