Description

Brampton War Memorial is situated in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter on The Street in Brampton, Norfolk. It is prominently placed near the church. The memorial features a stone wheel-head cross that stands on a small plinth with a single-step base. The front face of the shaft displays an inscription and the names of those commemorated, while the dedication is found on the front face of the plinth.

The inscription reads: "TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE FROM THIS PARISH WHO DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1919 (NAMES) THIS MONUMENT IS ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS OF BRAMPTON AND FRIENDS."
