Description
Brampton Hall is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and later. It is constructed of red brick and features a black glazed pantile roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with the south facade displaying five windows, which include casements and sashes with segmental heads. There are three early 18th-century sashes with glazing bars, and the doorways are positioned off-centre. The central attic gable contains two casements with glazing bars and has parapeted gables. The west gable features two early 18th-century sashes with glazing bars, along with an attic casement. A stone tablet, which has been re-set, displays the date 1595. There is also evidence of earlier window openings that have brick drip moulds. The north wall has three large external chimney stacks, and there are one-storey and two-storey lean-to structures on the north side, as well as a one-storey flint and pantile lean-to at the south-east corner.
