Description
The Old Manor is a house dating from the early 17th century that has undergone significant alterations. It features a timber frame that is rough cast and colourwashed, with red brick gables. The roof is thatched with reeds. The building has two storeys and follows a lobby entrance plan. The windows are mostly from the 20th century, except for one three-light iron-framed casement located on the east side. There is an off-centre axial chimney stack with three diagonally-set linked shafts, and another chimney is situated at the north gable. The gables are parapeted with brick tumbling. The butt purlin roof has been partly rebuilt, and the original staircase is located on the east side of the stack.
