Description

Burgh-Next-Aylsham War Memorial is a roadside memorial located at the junction of The Street and Wood Lane in Burgh-Next-Aylsham, Norfolk. It is prominently positioned facing a crossroads in the center of the village. The memorial features a wheel-head cross on a plinth, which is raised on a large concrete base. The plinth has a smooth front face designed to display inscriptions in lead.

The inscription, crafted in leaded lettering, reads: "TO THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1918 (NAMES)."
