Description

Bramerton War Memorial is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter on The Street in Bramerton, Norfolk. It is prominently positioned by the south porch of the church. The memorial features a wheel-head cross with a downturned Sword of Sacrifice carved in relief, set on a plinth that rests atop a single-stepped square base. The front face of the plinth has a smooth, recessed area with inscriptions in leaded lettering.

The inscription reads: "TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1918 (NAMES)."
