Description

Bramerton Hall is a house dating to circa 1830, with a north extension added in the 1870s. The original 1830 range is constructed of gault brick, while the extension is of red brick. The roofs are slate-covered. The house is two storeys high with a dormer attic, arranged in five bays. A central door is sheltered by a porch supported by a pair of entactic Tuscan columns below an entablature. Pilasters flank the facade on the left and right. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath gauged skewback arches. A deep timber eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The hipped roof is pierced by two segmental-headed dormers, each containing a sash window. Two chimney stacks are located on the rear slope. The north extension is two storeys high and consists of four bays.
