Description

Green Acres is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a reed-thatched roof. The east and west walls may be timber-framed and are cased in brick. The building has two storeys and an attic. It features 20th-century two-light casement windows with glazing bars, with two on the first floor and three on the ground floor. The entrance door is off-centre. The gables are parapeted with brick tumbling, and there is a chimney stack at the north gable. The gables also have moulded brick oversailing courses and small attic casements. A 20th-century pantiled one-storey wing is located at the north gable, and there is a lean-to at the south gable.
