Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Yarmouth Road in Thorpe St. Andrew. The main part of the house is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof and has two storeys and four bays on its east facade. It features sash windows with glazing bars and 20th-century shutters, each set under gauged skewback arches. A hipped roof with a central ridge stack is a prominent feature. The south front presents three bays with similar window arrangements. A pilastered doorcase is located on the left side, distinguished by a dentil cornice and a frieze of triglyphs. An additional two-storey wing extends to the west, incorporating three bays with sash windows and glazing bars. This wing has a gable roof, hipped to the west, and two gault brick ridge stacks.
