Description

This is an early 19th century house located on the south side of High Street in Fenstanton. It is a two-storey building constructed of gault brick, with a shallow-pitched, hipped slate roof and end stacks. The symmetrical facade features a range of three recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within cambered gauged brick arches. Similar arched surrounds are present for the two full-length casement windows. A flat-roofed portico with Tuscan columns and pilasters, topped by a plain entablature, fronts the central doorway, which has a half-glazed door. A rear wing, one storey high with attics, features a mansard roof covered in plain tiles and an end stack.
