Description

This is an early 18th century house situated on the south side of High Street in Fenstanton. The building is two storeys high and has a modern tile roof. The north-facing facade is rendered and built of local red brick, while the rear is a timber-framed structure with a rough-cast exterior, a tall ridge stack, and a modern tile roof. Architectural features include shaped parapet gables, an end stack to the right, a saw-tooth brick eaves cornice, and a band separating the floors. The first floor has two recessed sash windows with side lights and glazing bars, set within cambered arches. A central doorway is flanked by two modern shop windows. Inside, the house features modern stone lining to an original inglenook fireplace and stop-chamfered ceiling beams with run-out stops.
