Description

Monks Barn is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble and brick, topped with a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys, with the main facade facing east featuring a central fielded door set within a pilastered doorcase. Above this door is a canted bay window. The remaining windows are early 19th century tripartite sashes arranged in a three-bay layout. The roof is gabled and hipped to the north, with an internal gable stack located on the south side.
