Description

Rushcutters is a house that has been converted into a public house and restaurant. It dates from the 16th century and has been altered in the 18th century and late 20th century. The building is timber framed with brick infill, and some areas feature nogging. It has a tiled roof, with the entire ground floor having been altered in the 20th century. The first floor retains three renewed two-light casement windows. There is a stepped external stack from the 18th century, and a large stepped external stack from the late 16th century on the right side. The roof is gabled and hipped to the west, with an internal stack on the east gable.
