Description

The White House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with an enlargement from the early 19th century. The rear portion is constructed of brick and flint, while the extension is made of gault brick and features a roof of black glazed pantiles. The main facade has two storeys and is arranged in four bays, although it is partly obscured by a one-storey, two-bay hipped extension on the right. The ground floor has tall sash windows, and the first floor has square sashes, all featuring glazing bars and set under gauged skewback arches. The building is topped with a hipped roof that includes a central ridge stack.
