Description

Template House is an early 19th-century house located on the north-west side of Magdalen Street, Thetford. It is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof. The house is three storeys high and has three bays. A central projecting porch is built of brick, rendered and scored to resemble ashlar, and contains a six-panelled door. Early 20th-century canted bay windows have been added to the right and left, fitted with 6/6 and 2/2 sash windows. Above, the original fenestration consists of three 6/6 sash windows on each floor, all set beneath gauged skewback arches. The roof is hipped with side stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
