Description
39 and 41 Magdalen Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of flint with gault brick dressings and feature a pantiled roof. The houses are two storeys high and have three irregular bays. There are two 20th-century panelled doors, each set under segmental heads. The ground floor is illuminated by three unhorned 6/6 sash windows, also with segmental heads. On the first floor, there are three similar sash windows, although the two on the left are replacements. The building has a dentil eaves cornice and a gabled roof, with internal gable-end stacks on both the right and left sides, as well as a central ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected.
