Description

Nos. 17 and 19 Magdalen Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from flint and brick, featuring gault brick dressings and topped with a pantiled roof. The houses are two storeys tall and each has two bays, creating a symmetrical appearance. There is one early 20th-century door on the right and left sides of the elevation, with two sash windows between them; the window for No. 17 has 6/6 glazing bars, while No. 19 has 2/2 glazing bars. Each house also has two first-floor two-light casements, and all openings are set under segmental heads. The buildings have a dentil eaves cornice and a gabled roof, with a central ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected.
