Description
The garden wall enclosing the Italian garden at Moor Park was laid out around 1830. It is constructed of ashlar and stands less than 1 meter high. The wall runs from the southeast corner of the house in sections, which are marked by short piers that turn at three right angles to an end at the north of the house. Along the central axis of the house, there is a step-out with a segmental curve around a fountain. The wall features a moulded plinth and a slightly cambered head. The piers have moulded caps, with two of them displaying recessed moulded panels. This wall is included for its group value, which also encompasses urns, a sundial, and putti nearby.
