Description
The building is a former stock shed, now used as classrooms for Northwood Preparatory School, located on the north side of the yard. It is likely from the 18th century and was altered around 1980. The structure features a timber frame with a brick base and is weatherboarded with a tiled roof. It has 17 bays and was originally open to the yard. The gable end walls have brick below the weatherboarding, and square windows were inserted around 1980. Inside, there are wide span queen strut roof trusses, clasped purlins, and curved braces to the tie beams. The building was extended around 1980 with a parallel brick range added to the rear.
