Description
Moor Farm House at Northwood Preparatory School is an early 19th-century house constructed of stock brick with a machine-tiled hipped roof. The building has a double depth plan and consists of three bays over two storeys. The central entrance features a panelled and glazed door with a semi-circular traceried fanlight set in an arched reveal, and there is a late 19th-century timber porch. The windows are 16-pane glazing bar sashes set in reveals with gauged brick flat arched heads, and the eaves are close. The house has two bay returns, with French windows and a stack on the left side. To the right, there is a blind first floor above a ground floor slate-roofed link to an outbuilding that is now a garage. The rear of the main house has 16-pane sashes and a blocked entrance. The right return features an entrance with a cambered head. The interior has not been inspected.
