Description

This is a pair of semi-detached houses located on the north side of Sollershott West, built in 1907-8 by W.H. Cowlishaw. They are designed in the Yeoman Tudor style with an Edwardian "butterfly" plan. The two-storey houses have a symmetrical facade with a 2:2:2 window arrangement, featuring paired, gabled bays to the sides. The roof is tiled, and the brick stacks are panelled with moulded caps. The walls are roughcast, with some gables tile-hung. A brick plinth is decorated with a header chequerwork pattern. The windows are transom and mullion casements with leaded lights, and those in the end gables have segmental arched heads. The doorways are recessed and round-arched.
