Description

A pair of semi-detached houses built in 1852. The houses are constructed of red brick, with some decorative blue brick patterning, and have a slate roof. They are designed in the Tudor style. Each house is two windows wide and features a two-storey canted bay with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, with dripmouldings; the ground floor windows have four and five lights respectively. The corner quoins are prominent. A gable is present at the top storey. The outer bays are set back from the main facade. Four-centred arched porches, accessed by steps, are present. The houses are part of a group of twelve pairs, each with a deliberately varied design, forming a unified architectural scheme.
