Description

A pair of semi-detached houses located in St Ann’s Villas, built in 1852. The houses are constructed of red brick, with some blue diaper detailing, and have slate roofs. They are designed in the Tudor style. Each house has a two-storey, two-window wide canted bay with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, with dripmoulds; those on the ground floor have four and five lights respectively. Quoins are present, and there is a gable to the top storey. The outer bays are set back. Four-centred headed porches with steps lead to the entrances. These houses are part of a series of twelve pairs, deliberately designed with varied architectural details to create a unified scheme.
