Description
Nos 19 and 21 St Ann's Villas are a pair of semi-detached houses built in 1852. They are constructed of red brick with some blue diapering and feature a slate roof in the Tudor style. Each house is two windows wide and has a two-storey canted bay with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, complete with dripmoulds, and the ground floor windows consist of four and five lights. The houses have quoins and a gable at the top storey, with the outer bays set back. There are four-centred headed porches with steps leading up to the entrances. This pair is part of a series of twelve pairs of houses, all designed with deliberate variations, creating a unified architectural scheme.
