Description

A pair of semi-detached houses located on St Ann’s Villas, dating from 1852. The houses are constructed of red brick, with decorative blue diaper brickwork. They have slate roofs and are designed in the Tudor style. Each house has two windows wide, featuring a two-storey canted bay with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, with dripmoulds above, with four and five lights on the ground floor. The houses have quoins. A gable is present to the top storey. The outer bays are set back from the main facade. Four-centred headed porches with steps lead to the entrances. These houses are part of a series of twelve pairs of semi-detached properties, designed with deliberately varied details to create a unified architectural scheme.
