Description

A pair of semi-detached houses, built in 1852. The houses are constructed from red brick with blue brick detailing, and have a slate roof. They are designed in the Tudor style. Each house has a two-story, two-window-wide facade, featuring a canted bay window with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed with dripmoulds. The ground floor windows have five lights, and the first floor windows are flanked by quoins. A gable is visible to the top storey. The outer bays are set back from the main facade. Four-centred arched porches with steps lead to the front doors. These houses are part of a group of twelve pairs of houses, each with a deliberately varied design, forming a unified architectural scheme.
