Description

A pair of semi-detached houses dating from 1852, located on the east side of St Ann’s Villas. The houses are built of red brick, with some blue diaper detailing, and have a slate roof. They are designed in the Tudor style. Each house is two windows wide and features a two-storey canted bay with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, with dripmoulds; the ground-floor windows have four and five lights respectively. Quoins are present, and there is a gable to the top storey. The outer bays are set back. The houses have four-centred headed porches with steps leading up to them, and are one of a series of twelve pairs which were deliberately designed with varied features to form a unified architectural scheme.
