Description

A pair of semi-detached houses located in St Ann’s Villas, dating from 1852. The houses are constructed of red brick, with blue brick diapering detail. They have slate roofs and are built in a Tudor style. Each house has two windows wide, featuring a two-storey canted bay with a parapet. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, with dripmould decorations. The ground floor windows have four and five lights respectively. The houses incorporate quoins. A gable is present in the top storey, and the outer bays are set back. Four-centred headed porches with steps lead to the entrances. These houses are part of a group of twelve pairs, designed with deliberately varied façades to create a unified architectural scheme.
