Description
Nos 29 and 31 on Field Lane were built in 1910 by architects Parker and Unwin. This L-shaped block also includes No 16 Sollershott East and is part of an interesting planning concept that creates the appearance of an open square at the junction of Field Lane and Sollershott East. The building is two storeys high with irregular window arrangements. It features hipped tiled roofs with projecting swept eaves and moulded stacks with weathered offsets. The exterior is made of roughcast brick, and it has rectangular leaded casement windows, although some have been removed. The doors are half-glazed, and there is a round-arched opening leading to a garage area at the rear.
