Description
Nos. 30 and 32, Field Lane, part of an L-shaped block that includes No. 18 Sollershott East, were built in 1910 by Parker and Unwin. This development was conceived as an interesting planning exercise, creating the impression of an open square where Field Lane meets Sollershott East. The building is two storeys high and features irregular window placement. It has a hipped tiled roof with projecting swept eaves and moulded stacks with weathered offsets. The exterior is roughcast brick, with rectangular leaded casement windows (some of which have been removed). There are half-glazed doors, and a round-arched opening leads to the garage area at the rear.
