Description
Scudamore is an early 17th century farmhouse that has been later divided into three cottages and is now occupied as a single residence. The building underwent significant alterations in 1925, which included the addition of a rear wing, resulting in an L-shaped plan. It features two storeys and attics, with a fenestration pattern of 1:3. The gabled tile roof is complemented by tall 'Tudor' chimney stacks made of red brick, and there is an old square chimney located at the rear where the wings meet. The structure is timber-framed with vertical panels and brick nogging, and it includes gabled dormers. The windows are casements with mullions, ovolo mouldings, and leaded lights. The entrance features a 'Tudor' arched doorway with a boarded door.
