Description

This is a house dating from the 16th century, originally timber-framed and thatched, with a half-hipped roof. The north front faces the road and is plastered, with weatherboarding extending up to sill level. The gable ends are also weatherboarded. The house has an L-shaped plan and is one and a half storeys high. It has a three-window front, featuring a 10/10 sash window on the west end. The interior reveals heavy exposed timber framing, including curved tension braces on the west ground floor. A gabled, plastered, timber-framed rear extension exists on the east side.
