Description
Croft Cottage is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame and a thatched roof, although much of the exterior has been modernized. The cottage has cement rendering and a partially weatherboarded porch, with an old tiled roof on the eastern side. It is one and a half storeys high and consists of three bays, with a 17th-century chimneystack located towards the west. Inside, there are chamfered and stopped floor beams, joists, and a chimney lintel. The living space includes a recessed brick fireplace with trefoil-headed nooks.
