Description
Keepers Cottage is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame set on a black plastered plinth, with plastered panelled pargetting displaying varied patterns. The building has a steep old red tile half-hipped roof. It is two storeys high and has a three-cell internal chimney plan, with the chimney positioned a third of the way from the eastern end and the entrance a third of the way from the western end. There is a single-storey rear wing at the northwest. The front of the cottage has three two-light flush wooden casement windows on each floor. An open porch with a hipped tiled roof is supported by two posts and leads to a plank door framed by a moulded architrave.
