Description
Green Tye Farm Cottage is a house located to the west of Green Tye Farm House. It dates from the early 17th century and features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and plastered. The roof is half-hipped and covered with old tiles, with a gable end facing the road. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays. The weatherboarding extends to the sill level on the east and west sides, as well as on the gable of the road elevation. At the rear of the east elevation, there are two narrow, 18th-century, 10-pane fixed windows. The front of the cottage has modern three-light casements. Inside, the cottage showcases chamfered and stopped floor beams and joists.
