Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a house located on the west side of Droxford High Street, dating from around 1600 with timber frame construction. It features timber-framed extensions added around 1800 and underwent renovations in the late 20th century. The cottage has an exposed frame with painted brick and some plaster infill, topped with a tile roof that is half-hipped on the south side and hipped on the north, extending above an outshot. The east front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, with three above five windows, all of which are casements. There is a plain doorway, and a yew tree is situated adjacent to the north side of the cottage.
